How Palestine in a Box Started
“Palestine in a Box” started in 2018 when two entrepreneurs (Hanan & Odeh) met at a startup event in Ramallah.
They both realized that they have the same love and passion for crafts and handmade products that show the culture and identity of Palestine. They wanted to start something that fulfills this need while helping handcrafters and women cooperatives expand their business and reach new markets.
Palestine in a Box showcases all kinds of products that identify the different areas and eras of Palestine. From Ceramic made in Hebron to olive wood souvenirs made in Bethlehem, to unique embroidery pieces crafted by women in Gaza.

Our Mission
In short, we discovered a part of a song by a wonderful Palestinian band (47SOUL) that literally describes our mission, the part reads as: “Find the fruits on the trees, send it off to wherever you please, make sure that the money comes back home, back to the peasants to the fallaheen born”.
